IMDB rating: 7.10 Plot: The last time we saw Danny Ocean’s crew, they were paying back ruthless casino mogul Terry Benedict after stealing millions from him. However, it’s been a while since they’ve come back together, which is all about to change. When one of their own, Reuben Tishkoff builds a hotel with known casino owner Willy Banks, the last thing he ever wanted was to get cut out of the deal personally by the loathsome Banks. Banks’ attitude even goes so far as to finding the amusement in Tishkoff’s misfortune when the double crossing lands Reuben in the hospital because of a heart attack. However, Danny and his crew won’t stand for Banks and what he’s done to a friend. Uniting with their old enemy Benedict, who himself has a vendetta against Banks, the crew is out to pull off a major plan. One that will unfold on the night Banks’ newest hot spot opens up, when the crew is out to bankrupt one of the city’s most despised businessmen. But they’re not in this for the money, but for the revenge. |

Ok so, basically can you create a list, possibly with links?
The best answer won’t go to the first answer necessarily but the person who provides the best details and/or best description and list of films from these three fabulous actors.
thank-you.
Im asking your opinion I dont want the IMDB link, i know where to go. Im asking for opinions. That is not a best answer.
Pacino:
Dog Day Afternoon (Oscar Nom)
-My favorite Pacino performance, I would even call this one of the best performances of all time.
The Godfather (Oscar Nom)
-Of course he’s part of an ensemble cast, but he still stands out.
The Godfather Pt II (Oscar Nom)
-Even better than he was in the first film, a dark and unpredictable role. Probably my second favorite.
Dick Tracy (Oscar Nom)
-Cartoonish, overblown, but still very fun. Dick Tracy is a really unique film.
Glengary Glenross (Oscar Nom)
-Great hot-shot salesman performance, and like The Godfather, a great ensemble cast.
Serpico (Oscar Nom)
-Probably the best police film ever made, and Pacino’s performance is excellent. Like Dog Day, it’s also by Sidney Lumet, one of my favorite directors.
Scent of a Woman (Oscar Win)
-A really sincere, but still overblown Pacino performance. I really liked it, but I’m not sure if he deserved the oscar for it. Hoo-ah!
And Justice For All (Oscar Nom)
-This is a really funny, strange courtroom film with a very good performance by Pacino. This is the first movie where he had a noticeable gruff voice.
Scarecrow
-Really great low-budget film with Gene Hackman. Think Midnight Cowboy, it’s a great character drama.
Carlito’s Way
-Sort of the opposite to Scarface, despite having the same director/lead actor, about a guy trying to fade out of the crime scene. I preferred it to Scarface by a large margin.
Donnie Brasco
-It’s slow, but this has perhaps the most low-key performance by Pacino as a sincere and trusting mafia member. I think he deserved a nomination for this one.
Nicholson:
As Good As it Gets (Oscar Win)
-Really fun, typical role for Nicholson as an OCD ridden cynic. I didn’t love it, but it’s a great performance nonetheless.
Terms of Endearment (Oscar Win)
-I haven’t seen this all the way through, but what I’ve caught of Nicholson’s performance is pretty damn good. He did win the oscar after all.
Reds (Oscar Nom)
-This is a really cool movie about the communist revolution. It’s the only epic I can think of starring Nicholson, and it’s a good one.
Batman
-He’s the joker. Enough said.
Ironweed (Also has Meryl Streep + Oscar Nom for both)
-Kinda like Scarecrow, this is a lower budgeted film, and they’re both excellent in it.
The Last Detail
-Hal Ashby is one of my favorite directors, and while he only made cult classics, The Last Detail is up to his par. It’s an enjoyable film, even if not much really happens, Nicholson’s performance is great.
Chinatown (Oscar Nom)
-Maybe the best film-noir ever made? Seriously, this is a fantastic movie, and even if its script is the real star here, Nicholson is again, great.
Five Easy Pieces (Oscar Nom)
-This is probably his first big leading performance, and I really like this film.
A Few Good Men (Oscar Nom)
-Maybe his most iconic film performance. It’s a good movie, it isn’t fantastic, but there is some good courtroom banter in this one.
About Schmidt (Oscar Nom)
-Pretty heartbreaking at times, it’s a really, really great performance by Nicholson. Maybe even his best.
Streep:
A Cry in the Dark (Oscar Nom)
-Really convincing Australian accent on Streep here. Fantastic film, and it’s one of her very best.
The Deer Hunter (Oscar Nom)
-Supporting performance, but it’s still very good. More of an ensemble piece with Cazale, DeNiro and Walken in there, though.
Adaptation (Oscar Nom)
-This is my favorite Streep film, but I don’t think it’s one of her best performances. Seriously, this script is a billion shades of genius.
Sophie’s Choice (Oscar Win)
-Excellent, excellent performance. Easy oscar win for her, but it is a really depressing film.
Kramer Vs Kramer (Oscar Win)
-Her first oscar win, and I liked this film quite a bit, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t soured by the fact that it one best picture over Apocalypse Now
Doubt (Oscar Nom)
-More of a recent one, but a really good intimidating role from Meryl. Also, everyone in this film is amazing.
The Bridges of Madison County (Oscar Nom)
-I like her performance in this one, but I wasn’t crazy about the movie itself.
Those are of the movies I’ve seen by them, so there’s probably a lot more I haven’t seen.

Pacino:
Heat, with Robert DeNiro. Before Righteous Kill, this was the one movie in which they both appeared on screen together. High intensity movie, where Pacino plays it to the hilt as only he can.
The Godfather Trilogy. A series of films where he rarely goes over the top, yet develops a character that is easily among the most malevolent and ruthless in cinema.
The Recruit, with Colin Farrell. Pacino plays a constantly shape-shifting CIA agent whose expertise is in leveraging the insecurities and self-doubts of his trainees.
Serpico, and a somewhat similar film, Dog Day Afternoon. Early Pacino, channeled into two real-life characters, in two independent films, about two true stories. Classic Pacino in every sense of the word.
Nicholson:
A Few Good Men. Not a big role, but he towers on the screen in a very well done film with a great cast (Kevin Bacon is also excellent in this movie).
The Witches of Eastwick. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Jack Nicholson play a more hilarious character than the demon who seduces Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon, and Cher. His monologue in the church is priceless - you’ve got to see it for yourself.
Chinatown. Great movie. Hard movie. Roman Polanski directs.
The Pledge. Tense, well-played, tragic, great.
Streep:
Kramer vs. Kramer. Probably the film that caught most people’s attention.
Silkwood. Probably the film that first suggested her powerhouse potential.
Out of Africa, with Robert Redford. Probably the film that established her as a powerhouse actress.
A Series of Unfortunate Events. A highly entertaining movie for the whole family; she plays the crazy aunt…probably better than the crazy aunt herself.
The Manchurian Candidate. She reprises Angela Landsbury’s role in the modernized remake of the Frank Sinatra classic. Overall, I prefer the original, but for that role, I’d say she’s the better of the two.
